Rome Baroque, American Academy in Rome

As a Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome these works began with onsite drawings to become modern Baroque motifs infused with color for pattern.

Rome Editions, graphite drawings on vellum, transferred onto photo silkscreens then printed as I saw it in the moment, with tinges of color. In real life, in the Springtime of Rome, Sicily and Venice, the work was refined in Hudson mid-summer and printed during the end of summer in the East Village.
