Oysters “Rockefeller” locally gilded  riff ... “The World is Our Oyster”

“The World is Our Oyster”.

OrangeHOWELL’s  Oysters “Rockefeller” was originally envisioned at Zadie’s Oyster Room, while considering the natural beauty of each oyster as individuals within our diverse democratic society, however polarized politically. Natural uniqueness reaffirmed in oyster shells, from nature's creative source, LOVE...trumps everything. Give the gift and pay "it" forward...The World is (Y)Our Oyster.

December 2017:  Carol Cannon of Alpha Workshops, demonstrated gold and silver leafing techniques. Process:  Soak and clean shells, consider the natural elements to accentuate or gild, prepare oyster surface with primer, coat size on surface, apply leaf and burnish delicately, dust off edges and seal the gilded surface.

The nexus of Oysters “Rockefeller” Collection was borne from beautifying maritime motifs, oyster shells, while the underpinnings were inspired by Christie's Spring Sale as explained by David Rockefeller, JR at Lunch with FT. A percentage of OrangeHOWELL’s  Oysters “Rockefeller” proceeds will be donated to Billion Oyster Project #BOP

OrangeHOWELL items are designed in East Village of Manhattan's New York City and handmade in Manhattan and New England, U.S.A., including orange boxes with flannel bags for storing and gifting.
